Mary O’Donnell

The choice of music at your wedding ceremony is so important to create the right atmosphere.

Mary O Donnell, a singer/harpist based in Dublin, has a vast repertoire of classical, traditional Irish, folk hymns and pieces. Mary will sing and play at your wedding or perform at the drinks Reception or dinner afterwards.
She is also a member of the Arpeggio duo – Concert / Irish harp and flute duo, and Tri- a trio for harp, voice and flute.

Mary began her harp studies at Mount Sackville School, Dublin with the late Sr. Eugene Mc Cabe, and has also studied with the renowned French concert harpist, Sebastien Lipman. In 1996, Mary graduated with an honours degree in Music from Trinity College Dublin, and also has a Masters in Musicology.

Mary has been a consistent winner at the Feis Ceoil, winning first prizes in Irish harp, Concert harp, singing and composition.

She has been a member of the National Youth Orchestra for many years and played with the Ulster Youth Orchestra, Wexford Sinfonia, Belfast Harp Orchestra, Dublin Orchestral Players and with many visiting orchestras.
Mary and her sister Teresa have toured Africa, America, Britain, France, Germany, The Netherlands and Hungary and have appeared on B.B.C., R.T.E. and C.N.N.
